Sea of Monsters Movie

So for this blog post I'm going to talk about the Sea of Monsters movie. I know its been awhile since its come out, but now i'm sure you've all watched the movie, which is based on the second book in the popular series Percy Jackson and the Olympians (btw im sorry about talking Percy Jackson for these last two posts).  So whoever has read the book and then seen the movie you would hopefully agree with me when i say that the movie missed some very key scenes. For starters, they didn't show the scene when Percy and Annabeth get stuck on Circe's island. They also didn't show when Annabeth goes into a trance because of the siren's song and pictures a perfect life when Luke is still good. I know these are some minor parts in the book, but it would be cool to see them on the screen (i mean if they're making a movie out of a FANTASY book they should include some of the other FANTASY things....just saying) Another thing that I wasn't too happy about was some of the minor changes they made to the plot. For instance, Grover is abducted by Luke in the movie, but was searching for Pan in the book. Also, Chiron is present in the movie, but is "missing" in the book. However, there were some good things in the movie as well. They did very good effects with the magical creatures they did include like the Cyclopes (but if they didn't include a cyclopes, then there would be no point to the story....) I personally think they did a pretty good job with the rise of Kronos and the battle that ensues afterwards. Overall, this movie wasn't too bad, but I think they could've done a much better job. If you're trying to make a book into a movie at least try to include most of the scenes. (even though i talked about how much they messed up, i still hope they make the third book, The Titan's Curse).

HOUSE OF HADES

OMG, I FINISHED HOUSE OF HADES!!!! ok well i actually finished a long time ago, but im making a post about it now. Hopefully you have all read the book by now. If not then drop everything you're doing and read the book.

Anyways, there are so many couples and they are all soooooooooooooooooo amazing :) So first couple is Percebeth. They both have fallen into Tartarus, and they both must survive and reach the Doors of Death. On the way they meet a Titan named Bob...who is the most amazing person EVER. But he sacrifices himself so Percy and Annabeth can go back to the world. But Percy and Annabeth have been helping each other and saving each other and its just soooooooooooooooo cute :) Ok next is Jason and Piper. There's not much of them mentioned in the story. Well, i mean it talks about them, but not so much as a couple, more individually. But u can tell they are more comfortable around each other. There's Hazel and Frank as well. I think there case is kind of the same as Jason and Piper's. However, you can see Hazel discovering her new talent, and Frank seems to be more confident about himself (unlike how we saw in the Son of Neptune). There's also Leo and Calypso. They start out hating each other, but they eventually like each other...and its amazing!!! Leo promises to come back for Calypso...but so did Percy, so i don't know. But Percy didn't like Calypso like Leo does, so there's a slight chance that he can possibly come back for her. Now there's Nico. We find out in this book that he is gay....which is totally fine. He likes Percy, but Percy is with Annabeth. And i would've shipped them, but Percy and Annabeth are the BEST couple ever. Ok, now i'm done ranting about all the couples. The best thing about this book is that there is no cliffhanger...YAY!!!! But we still have to wait a year for the next book, which is called Bloods of Olympus. Based on the title, im guessing that this is the last book, and they defeat Gaea. Hopefully Rick Riordian will come up with another series soon :)

HALLOWEEN

OMG SO HALLOWEEN IS COMING SOON...YAY!!!! Halloween is like the best holiday ever..except we dont get a day off school :( There are so many different costumes and i have no idea what to be. And i dont want to be a witch or something cuz thats too mainstream for me :P And our school is having a school dance, but its gonna be something with swamps so we're like do we dress up or not....but whatever. The main thing is that we're getting a BUNCH of candy. There are so many...skittles, sour patch kids, kit kats, and omg NERDS. NERDS ARE THE BEST TYPE OF CANDY EVER!!! (as you can see i love nerds) You know i think ill be a nerd...c what i did there :P Anyways what r u guys gonna be for Halloween?

OLD DISNEY VS NEW DISNEY

Ok, who's missing all our old Disney stars??? Like Selena Gomez, Miley Cyrus, Demi Lovato, and others. They used to appear in our favorite Disney shows, but now the modern Disney is ruined  :( The only good show nowadays is Good Luck Charlie. Like i mean come on...Dog with a Blog. Its about a dog who can talk and has his own blog. But the old Disney shows were amazing, like Wizards of Waverly Place, Sonny with a Chance, Suite Life of Zack and Cody, and even Hannah Montana (then again look at where she ended up). They also had the best animated series like Kim Possible and  I've also heard that Good Luck Charlie is on its last season....this is probably the best series that's currently on the air. Now, there's Disney XD. I personally don't think that channel has been ruined...yet. Kickin' It and Lab Rats are probably the shows on that channel. But, this channel hasn't been on for a long time so it hasn't had time to be ruined, unlike Disney. Hopefully Disney will start to get better shows...and better characters.
