MALEFICENT

OMG MALEFICENT IS COMING OUT!!! So hopefully you all know that Maleficent is the villain in Sleeping Beauty. Maleficent is from Maleficent's point of view instead of Aurora. I think this is a very good idea so you know what the villain thinks. Also, this is the first Disney movie to do so. So Angelina Jolie is playing Maleficent which is PERFECT. Ella Fanning is playing Aurora. I saw the trailer and it's sooooooooooooo good, so I suggest you guys all go and check it out. The movie comes out on May 30th, so please go and see it.

DIVERGENT MOVIE

Hopefully you have all seen Divergent by now and if you haven't, shame on you. But, please don't see the movie without reading the book because you won't enjoy it as much. (Sorry I'm doing a movie review on it so late, I was waiting until a majority of us had seen it). So, the movie was AMAZING. They had everything pretty much down except they messed up the ending scene a little bit and some scenes and characters weren't there but otherwise it was very good. Nothing was majorly wrong with it so that's good. The casting was perfect. All the actors fit their roles perfectly. Shailene Woodley played the protagonist Tris. Some people thought Shailene Woodly wouldn't be very good because of her acting  in The Secret Life of an American Teenager, but she was very good in Divergent. Theo James played Tris's love interest Four (or Tobias whichever you prefer). All the side characters like Chrisitina, Al, and Peter were awesome. There were also some funny parts in the movie ("Take it off stiff...put it back on"). The movie raised a lot of money, but it wasn't given very good reviews. I can see why they would say that if they didn't read the book. If you have read the book, you can understand it better. Thank god there are only one year gaps between the movies, so we don't have to wait long. So, I think you should go see the movie...once you've read the book.

FIRELIGHT

Hey! Sorry that I've been neglecting  this blog, but I'm gonna try to post more regularly now. So, this blog post is about the book Firelight by Sophie Jordan. This is isn't a very popular book, but I think it is AMAZING. I'm only on the second book right now, but it is soooooooooo good so far. It is another romance novel, but it's forbidden love. The story is about a girl named Jacinda who is a rare draki (descendant from a dragon). She has to leave her pride and move to a new city where she meets Will, but he hunts Jacinda's pride. The story is about how Jacinda wants to be with Will, but knows she can't if she wants to protect herself and her loved ones. You won't want to put this book down; it is full of action. There is a cliffhanger at the end, and I know most of you hate that. However, the good thing is that you won't have to wait long for the next book because it's already out. There are a total of 3 books, so it won't take very long to finish it. I wish they would make a movie out of it like they're doing with the Hunger Games and Divergent but they're not :( Anyways, I hope you all try this book because I'm sure a majority of you will like it. 

Our Old Disney Stars

So, this post is about where our old Disney stars are....and i think it's really interesting to see where they have ended up. So first there's Miley Cyrus. She has probably had the most changing image out of all the stars. She first started with her We Cant Stop music video. That was totally messed up in my opinion. Then there was the twerking at VMAs, which was just totally wrong and disgusting. Like seriously, Robert Thicke is married and has kids. Next was her Wrecking Ball video. That was even more messed up then we can't stop. I think the song was pretty good, except the music video was just disturbing. And recently, while she was at another award's show, she started smoking while receiving her award. So, i think she has had the most drastic changes. Next is Selena Gomez. She hasn't changed much, and she was like my favorite Disney actress when she was on Wizards of Waverly Place. The major thing she did was starring in the movie Spring Breakers. That was a rated-r movie, and she said that she starred in in to get away from her Disney image. She is continuing to focus on her music, which is pretty good. Now there's Demi Lovato. She was one of my other favorite stars on the show Sonny with a Chance. That was a pretty good show as well. But, she had to quit due to eating disorders. Now, she has decided to focus on her music, and her songs are really good. I like heart attack, skyscraper, and her new song for the Disney movie Frozen. So, out of all the stars in Disney, i think that Miley Cyrus has changed the most, by far.
