Catching Fire

So as you all know (I hope) that Catching Fire has come out......asdfghjkl!!!!! I'm hoping that all of you have seen it already, but if you haven't, i suggest not reading any further on this blog post. The movie was FANTASTIC....and I'm not just saying that because the book was good too. This was probably the best movie that was made from a book. The first movie was good, Hunger Games, but i think this one was better. Every dialogue was word for word from the book. Also, the sets were good, and the scenes were in the correct order. However, some minor things weren't there, but it didn't affect the plot. The arena was awesome. It seemed exactly how they described it in the book. They had all the different hazards: poisonous fog, bloodbath.... My favorite scene was when Johanna was in the elevator with Katniss, Peeta, and Haymitch. That was hilarious....I didn't think they would show it in the movie, but they did and it was sooooooooooooooooooooooooo funny. There were also many scenes between Katniss and Gale, and Katniss and Peeta. We can see that Katniss cares a lot about both of them. OMG FINNICK ODAIR WAS AMAZING. He was so good. They included the scene when he gives Katniss a sugar cube....that was when they first introduce him. So overall this movie was good.....even better than the first one in my opinion. I can't wait for Mockingjay, but that movie is coming in two parts. I think that's pretty stupid because the book wasn't that long, and most of it is in her head so i don't know how they can make two parts (You could do it with Harry Potter because that book was LONG). Anyways, if you haven't seen it yet, i suggest that you go see it right now.

Nail Designs

Hey you guys! I'm gonna talk about different nail designs. I love doing doing my nails...but i'm not the best at them :( I usually spend 2 hours doing a design... But doing nails are sooooooo much fun so I'm gonna post some pictures of designs you can do.

These are japanese cherry blossom nails. You just need to put a white french tip (or white background) and put orange dots. Then, you can take a toothpick to make the petals of the flower, and also use it to make branches.

These are the different social networks put onto nails. You can just put the base coat based on which social network you're doing, and then use a toothpick to make the specific designs.

These are splatter paint nails, which look really cool in my opinion. You just need to put a base coat and use a straw to splatter the paint on the nail. Just so it doesn't get on your skin i suggest you put scotch tape on your finger.

So Christmas is coming soon and  I know i like doing my nails according to the holiday. For these nails all you need to do is put a base red coat and then dip a toothpick into white nail polish to make the designs.

These are some of my favorite nail designs and how to do them. If you guys want any other different designs, you can go on google images. Also, if you have any cool designs please add them in the comments below. I love to try out different types of nail designs :)

WHERE ARE OUR HARRY POTTER STARS?

This post is going to be devoted to the Harry Potter stars Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson, Rupert Grint, and Tom Felton. So first Daniel Radcliffe, who was our most famous wizard Harry Potter throughout the eight movies. The first movie that he did after the Harry Potter movies were finished was Women in Black which was a horror movie. Most people say that this ruined his image (i kind of have to agree....), but i think he just wants to stray away from his Harry Potter image (but he will always be Harry Potter to me). He most recently appeared in the thriller drama Kill Your Darlings. The movie revolves around a murder, but that's all i know :P Ok, next is Emma Watson who played most of our favorite character....Hermione Granger, the greatest wizard EVER. The first thing i want to talk about is her appearance. I'm sure we all know about her boy cut hair (did you know that she sometimes had to wear a wig during the filming of Deathly Hallows part 2). She also has piercings on her ear, which in my opinion look really pretty. She appeared in the movie The Perks of Being a Wallflower, which is based on the book. Her most recent movie is The Bling Ring. This movie is about a bunch of high schoolers stealing from famous people's houses...the movie seems pretty good. Next we have Rupert Grint who played the lovable Ron Weasley. His first movie after the Harry Potter series was the Into the White...i don't know too much about this movie so I'm not gonna say much. He bought an ice cream truck which was his childhood dream :) (did you know that he's also afraid of spiders...just like Ron) Last person is Tom Felton. He played the character Draco Malfoy....who everybody seems to hate...especially since he killed Dumbledore (well technically Snape did...but whatever). But we see later that he doesn't really want to be part of the Death Eaters, and later becomes good :) The first movie he did after the Harry Potter series was The Rise of the Planet Apes....which im sure you've all heard of. He also says that if he could play any part in Harry Potter it would Lucius Malfoy or Voldemort (Tom Felton didn't read any of the Harry Potter books when he first went to audition for the role). I personally thought he was the best actor in the series...but that's just me. Anyways, as we can see all of our favorite characters have moved on :(( but hopefully they might get together and make another movie....)

Ender's Game

OMG I JUST SAW THE ENDER'S GAME MOVIE!!!

BTW I SUGGEST U DON'T READ AHEAD IF U HAVEN'T READ THE BOOK OR SEEN THE MOVIE

Ok, so the movie was actually pretty good. They were pretty accurate about everything, and the way i imagined it was how they displayed it in the movie. The battle school and buggers were good. They also got the casting pretty well. The only problem i had with the casting is that the actors were a bit too old. I mean Ender is supposed to be 6, then slowly gets older. But, the actor in this movie looked about 13 or 14. I mean you can understand why : the part was pretty complex, so they need high professional actors, and they couldn't show a progression of age in the amount of time they had to make the movie. However, Valentine, Peter, Petra, Bean, Mazer Rackham (who's face looked awesome with all the tattoos), General Graff,   etc.. all played their respective parts well. But they got everything in the correct order (except Bean came a bit too early). They also missed a few parts, but if they were to include all the parts of the book, they might have to make 2 parts to the movie (and personally for this kind of movie, i don't think that would be necessary). The only major problem i had with  this movie is that they didn't show any parts with Valentine and Peter. I mean they show how Peter was being mean to Ender, and how Valentine was trying to persuade Ender into going to Command school, but they didn't show how they came up with fake identities: Locke and Demosthenes. That would've been  interesting thing to see. The only logical explanation I have for not showing these parts are they didn't have enough time in the movie, otherwise i see no reason why they couldn't put that into the movie. Overall, this movie was pretty good. If you haven't read the book i suggest reading the book first because i think you might enjoy it more and understand it more. But, i hope you guys all go and see it sometime.

oh and Petra and Ender looked really cute together, but they don't become a couple :(
